About the event
Join the Wild Rivers Film Festival (WRFF) for a one-week, immersive filmmaking workshop! Students will spend one week in July learning the ins and outs of film production from film industry professionals, prepare a short film project, and spend the final three days of the workshop actively filming their project on location. Spots are limited! Sign up today!
Who can register: Students 11 - 18 years of age, entering the 6th - 12th grades
Workshop dates: Monday, July 15 through Sunday, July 21
Registration deadline: Friday, June 28, 5:00pm
Morning snacks and lunch will be provided to all students each day of the workshop.
Important: After you have completed this online registration form, WRFF will be in touch with the students' parent or guardian with a packet that includes a permission slip and other required documentation. This packet MUST be completed for the student to participate in the workshop; registration is not complete until the packet is returned to WRFF.
Workshop Itinerary:
Monday, July 15 - Thursday, July 18: 8:30am - 2:30pm
- Pre-production classes and short film project development with instructor Daniel Springen
Friday, July 19 - Sunday, July 21: 8:00am - Evening (end time TBD)
- Filming on location with instructor Daniel Springen and industry professionals
