Our Mission: The Wild Rivers Film Festival celebrates the art of cinema by showcasing thought-provoking films and supporting diverse voices in filmmaking. We foster art, culture, and economic growth in the Wild Rivers region through screenings, workshops, and educational programs.
Our goals are: ● Build a sustainable, financially strong festival that benefits the community. ● Provide opportunities for filmmakers, audiences, and locals to connect and learn. ● Highlight original storytelling, diverse perspectives, and the beauty of our region. ● Inspire collaboration across all walks of life to create an engaging annual event.
In our first three years, the Wild Rivers Film Festival showcased some of the best independent films from around the world while focusing in part on films that were created in and around Oregon's coastal communities.
Nightly parties and a variety of professional activities will encourage important networking opportunities for all. The festival culminates with an award ceremony featuring cash & prizes
The Wild Rivers Film Festival is an immersive four-day experience that includes dozens of film screenings, industry panels, and workshops that are all geared toward indie filmmakers and adventurous movie lovers
Brookings, Oregon is nestled right on the breathtaking Pacific coastline. The people are friendly, the seafood is fresh, and the film history is prolific.
